Kiriyama Prize Celebrating Literary Voices of the Pacific Rim
May 10, 2007The Kiriyama Prize recognizes outstanding books about the Pacific Rim and South Asia. The 2007 winner for fiction is Haruki Murakami for a collection of short stories: Blind Willow, Sleeping Women. The prize for nonfiction was awarded to David Mortenson and David Oliver Relin for Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Pease…One School at a Time.
